In March of 2020, I found myself out of work at one of the Dayton area's largest wedding venues due to COVID-19 layoff's in the event industry. I was absolutely heartbroken. I had finally made it to being the successful event planner I had wanted to be since I was a little girl. Losing my job, and watching the world not be able to celebrate at events made me feel like I lost a part of myself. After a few months, I realized that COVID would eventually be over and weddings, parties, and events would be back to how it used to be. My fiancé, Tom and I got engaged in June of 2020 and planning my own wedding gave me my spark back in life. I wanted to help people the best way I knew how... by doing what I loved most and helping brides plan their weddings!
I pride myself in getting to know each and everyone of my clients on a personal level. Understanding a bride and a couples story helps me to translate their love story into their own special wedding day. Celebrating the love the couple has for each other is my favorite part of my job. I love meeting new people and being included in such an intimate moment of their life. I am truly blessed!

Hi! My name is Cassie Csendes, Associate Planner for Pearls & Poppy Wedding and Event Consultants. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us for your special day. It truly means so much for you to entrust us in such an important day and we cannot wait to work with you!
Unlike our founder Jenna, wedding planning wasn’t something I dreamed of doing all my life, but little did I know how much I would enjoy it! Throughout college I was involved in many different organizations and with a few of those I was involved in planning events both large and small. I planned many events for my sorority, Kappa Delta, and even planned a fifteen-hour dance marathon for our organization, Miracle Makers, to raise money for the local Dayton Children’s Hospital. After leaving college I missed this experience so when my long-time best friend asked me to help join her in her business, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity!
I myself am planning my own wedding in May of 2023! With that and previous weddings I have been involved in planning and executing, I truly understand the stresses and difficulties that a bride can face. I truly enjoy being able to take those stresses and difficulties away from my bride so she can enjoy the process of planning her special day. Seeing a brides face once her day all comes together is exactly why I love this job. Being able to be there for both my bride and groom is something very important to me and makes me feel truly blessed to be along their ride to the beginning of their forever!

I am thrilled to be part of your wedding day. A little bit about me: I am completing my final year at Wright State University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership. Working closely with Jenna, our founder, for nearly 2 years has been incredibly fulfilling. Initially, I considered a career in education but realized my true passion lies in event planning. Exploring the intricacies of the event planning industry, especially weddings, captured my heart, and I decided to pursue it wholeheartedly. Witnessing how each couple uniquely infuses their love into their wedding day is truly remarkable to me!
